Corby "Eddie" Brooks began wrestling in high school and went to the state regional finals his junior year.  He began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai at Team Roc in Greensboro and then started at Alamance Black Belt Academy in 2008. He received his blue belt from Royce Gracie in 2009. Corby has attending training sessions with Eddie Bravo, Royce Gracie, Rodrigo Gracie and trained in Las Vegas at Mark Layman and Randy Couture's schools. Corby loves working jiu jitsu, muay thai and clinch work, teaching group classes and teaching private lessons to beginners.
